In this area, around 90 percent of waste can be processed. In this area, the Reduce, Separate and Utilize (Kang Pisman) program has been intensified.

"Jasmine Integrated Farming has been running since 2019. At first we were educating and socializing. We went around, how to sort waste. Currently 10 percent of the residue is still being disposed of in TPS. We have a contribution. 90 percent is processing here," said the Chairperson RW 19, Doddy Iryana Memed at the Bandung Responding activity, Wednesday June 2023.

He revealed, with 1,000 residents and 251 houses, around 3,200 kg of organic and 100-150 kg of inorganic waste piles up.

"Thank God, we can use the heap of garbage to make maggot, fertilizer and other materials that can be used," he said.

In the same place, Secretary of Jasmine Integrated Farming, Anindya Puspitasari said that each RT is provided with two sorting stations. This is to minimize the mixing of waste.

"Each RT has two trash cans, for inorganic and organic. Later after the gathering point, each RT will be full of garbage for about 2-3 days," he explained.

He added, within one week there were 3,200 kg of organic waste and 100-150 kg of inorganic waste.

"To minimize that, we sort it again so that the waste here is useful. There is magot feed, compost, fertilizer and other organic waste," explained Anin, his nickname.

"Inorganic is also selected in the waste bank and later given to the main waste bank. Inorganic still has residue, such as coffee sachets, which cannot be recycled," he said.

Apart from being magot food ingredients too, continued Anin, the waste products here become fertilizer which produces vegetables. The harvest is distributed to prevent stunting.

"The fertilizer is used for stunting prevention programs. Toddlers here enter the scope of residents to prevent stunting, so we process it for consumption," he said.

Meanwhile, Antapani Tengah Village Head, Teguh Haris Pathon explained, his area implemented the flagship program, Kang Pisman.

"We have the Servant Milah Ti Bumi (Abah Timi) movement. This is a derivative of Kang Pisman who is in the Antapani Tengah Village as a milestone in the success of waste sorting," he explained.

He said, as a reference to strengthen waste management, namely land and strong enthusiasm. This is the main key to cleanliness.

"The obstacle is land. Second, there must be enthusiasm among the residents. In RW 19 it is extraordinary, the management continues to be pursued. Starting from the person in charge of magot feed, sorting organic and inorganic waste to outreach to the community," he explained. (yan)**
