This year, the Bandung City Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) made a new breakthrough in picking up football called Kadoku Jempol (Recording of population documents in picking up football).

Head of the Bandung City Population and Civil Registration Office, Tatang Muhtar, explained that Kadoku Jempol is a new program in the Mapeling mobile service to schools.

Including public and private special schools. So it helps novice teachers who will be 17 years old to get an e-KTP.

"In 2023, this program will develop by providing 2 new services. First, for teachers, staff, and anyone who is on campus and has already recorded their e-KTP, they will be served with digital population identity (IKD) activation. So that everyone has a digital KTP at their respective devices," explained Tatang.

Then secondly, for students who are recorded at the age of 16 by the Mapeling team, at the age of 17 they will immediately receive an e-KTP as a gift which will be sent to schools.

This Kadoku Jempol innovation is the Bandung City Government's support for the success of the 2024 election.

"The e-KTP that is ready will be printed when the student is 17 years old. The results will be sent directly to the student's school location," he said.

The school, through the teacher in the class, will hand it over directly to the student concerned.

That way, these students will automatically get the right to participate in the 2024 elections.

So, for Bandung residents who are about to turn 17, immediately record your e-KTP so that next year you can officially take part in the 2024 election. (din)**
