"I started telling stories around 2004, that's also because I had time after graduating from FISIP International Relations. "I took kindergarten teacher education," explained Odin

According to Odin, becoming a storyteller is not difficult, because humans instinctively like to tell stories or listen to stories. However, what is different is the content of the message conveyed.

“Literacy is actually not difficult. "Fairy tales are also a form of literacy and fairy tales don't always have to be about folk tales or stories from books or complex stories," said Claudine.

"Actually, if it is from parents to children, daily stories or childhood stories are more like chatting with their children. "It is also a form of storytelling or literacy and it also increases closeness with parents," he continued.

Apart from being a storyteller who is part of the Bengkimut Fairy Tales group, Odin is also a librarian at Pustakalana, which is one of the Children's Libraries in Bandung City.

“Storytelling is fun, especially for children. "So from there I started trying various storytelling techniques, until if we saw the expressions on the children's faces, we knew they were getting into the story," said Claudine.

“If our storytelling technique is correct, that's for sure. The child's expression really follows the story. Then in the end they seem to have gotten something. "His face is so cheerful, that's a satisfaction in itself for me," he added

On this occasion of National Fairy Tale Day, Claudine hopes that parents can listen to more stories or tell stories with their children, because storytelling can be done by anyone and anywhere.

“Exactly on November 28, I want to wish you a happy national fairy tale day. "Hopefully more and more people will tell stories at home and anywhere," he said.

In every fairy tale word there is magic that can change a child's world into a place full of hope and goodness. Happy National Fairy Tale Day. (rer)**
