Proud! Beating Paris to Macau, Bandung City Enters Top 10 Best Food Cities According to Taste Atlas

The city of Bandung was named as one of the cities in the 100 Best Food Cities according to Taste Atlas. Bandung successfully achieved tenth position with 4.66 points.

"TasteAtlas Awards: Top 100 cities that enjoy local food in 2024," wrote Taste Atlas on its official Instagram, quoted Friday 15 December 2023.

The city of Bandung has succeeded in beating big cities in the world which are also famous for their mouth-watering culinary delights. Starting from Paris, Bangkok, Seoul, Milan, Moscow, Rio De Janeiro to Macau.

Bandung is indeed famous for its culinary tourism. In the city of Bandung there are only two types of culinary delights, namely delicious and very delicious.

Typical Bandung culinary dishes that are favorites are batagor, whipped noodles, kupat tofu and soto Bandung. Meanwhile, for drinks, Bajigur and Bandrek are included in the Taste Atlas recommendations.

Not without reason, Bandung is known as a city with the best cuisine and snacks that can pamper the taste buds of its connoisseurs.

Apart from Bandung, other cities in Indonesia that are included in this list are Jakarta, Surabaya, Padang, Ubud, Malang, Yogyakarta and Seminyak.

Jakarta and Surabaya are ranked 11th and 16th out of 100 cities in the world. Meanwhile, Padang is also ranked 42nd.

Then Malang, Yogyakarta and Seminyak. These cities in Indonesia with the best culinary offerings have managed to beat other big cities in the world.

However, this is not the first time culinary delights in Indonesia have made achievements on the international stage. Previously, satay made it onto TasteAtlas' list of the most popular foods in the world.
