The award was given by Plh. Director General of Regional Administrative Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Amran to the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna at the Inauguration Ceremony of Bandung City Redkar at Tegalega Field, Tuesday 19 December 2023.

Pls. The Director General of Regional Administration Development at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Amran, said that this award was an appreciation to the Bandung City Government for setting an excellent example by seriously forming Redkar.

The city of Bandung is the first city in West Java Province to have Redkar.

"Redkar's existence is not only at the forefront of fighting fires but also as an agent for prevention and public education," said Amran.

He hopes that what has been done in Bandung City can inspire and be imitated by other cities and districts in West Java to form Redkar together.

"This step can inspire other regions in West Java, this will be an example for other city districts," he hoped.

For this reason, the Regional Secretary of the City of Bandung, Ema Sumarna hopes that through synergy between the Bandung City Government and volunteers, more effective fire prevention and control can be fully realized.

"We are working together to prevent and control fires in the city of Bandung," he said. (rob)**
