On the other hand, the Bandung City Government has also prepared a solution, namely the arrangement and relocation of street vendors to the Alun-alun Basement. A total of 140 street vendors have been recorded and are gradually being moved to the basement which was also inaugurated by the Bandung City Government a few days ago.

"There are 140 registered street vendors to be moved. Of the 140 street vendors, there are still around 52 street vendors who have not moved. Then of the 52 street vendors who have not moved, the latest information we received, around 20 street vendors have gradually moved down to the basement. So there are around "Another 32 street vendors are still in the process of moving to the basement area," said Atet.

Atet also said that the street vendor area in the Alun-alun Basement is intended for registered street vendors who sell culinary and non-culinary items. Including street vendors who sell in the Jalan Dalem Kaum area which has been relocated.

Regarding the refusal of a number of street vendors to relocate, Atet asked all parties to be aware of and comply with the regulations that have been set.

"The Alun-alun area has been designated as a red zone for street vendors. We are preparing a place for their relocation, then there are already 140 registered street vendors. We also need to find out whether the rejection comes from street vendors who have been registered or not. Because the street vendors who have been registered, "It has gradually moved to the basement," he explained.

Atet also asked the traders who had gradually descended to the basement area not to be provoked. He ensured that the facilities and facilities that had been prepared in the Alun-alun Basement would have positive benefits, both for traders and buyers.

"For traders who have entered the data collection and have gone downstairs, we hope they won't be provoked. Let's take a look at the facilities we have prepared first. We will ensure that the comfort of traders and buyers is maintained," he said.

Next, the UKM Diskop will coordinate with Satpol PP regarding data collection on street vendors to re-detail the registered street vendors. Both street vendors who have started selling and street vendors who are still in the process of moving.

"We need to coordinate again with Satpol PP. We have calculated that most of the traders have come down and moved their sales stalls to the basement," said Atet. (ray)**
