268 Retired Civil Servants, Acting Mayor: Enjoy Quality Time with Family

Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, officially released 268 Bandung City Government (Pemkot) Civil Servants (PNS) who were entering their retirement period from 1 February to 1 May 2024 at the Savoy Homann Hotel, Thursday, March 7 2024.

Due to this, Bambang hopes that the retirement period can be utilized and enjoyed.

“Enjoy this period of retirement. I, who is still active, really feel that this time is very difficult. "Take advantage of our time to have more quality and quantity interactions with our families," said Bambang.

He also expressed his highest appreciation for the service he had achieved while serving in the Bandung City Government (Pemkot).

“On behalf of the Bandung City Government, I would like to express my highest appreciation. "The city of Bandung would never have been as big as this, and would not have been proud of it, if it had not been for the contribution of ladies and gentlemen," he said.

A total of 268 Civil Servants (PNS) consist of 1 person in First High Position, administrator (6 people), supervisor (30 people), 63 people as implementer.

Apart from that, there are also functional positions for teachers (143 people), health (11 people) and technical functional staff (14 people).

Representing retired civil servants who once served as Head of the Bandung City Cooperatives and SMEs Service, Atet Dedi Handiman, expressed his thanks to the Acting Mayor of Bandung and his staff.

“I, on behalf of other colleagues, would like to express my thanks to the mayor and staff. "We also offer our deepest apologies if many targets have not been achieved and that is our maximum effort," said Atet.

Atet said that even though he was retired, he felt like he was still family.

"We consider it a big family, officially we are separated but the relationship must be maintained," he said. (ziz)**
