Completing the National Achievement, Diskar PB Bandung City Wins 2 More Awards at Provincial Level

Two awards were given in the Volunteer Firefighters (Redkar) category as 1st place. And in the Firefighters category as 3rd place.

This award complements the two titles previously won at the 2024 National Fire Fighter Skill Competition. As a reminder, at this event held in Surabaya, Diskar PB Bandung City won 2 trophies from 3 categories. Namely 1st Place in the Survival Category, and 1st Runner Up in the Ladder Pitching Category.

Head of the Bandung City PB Diskar, Gun Gun Sumaryana, welcomed the score obtained by the Bandung City PB Diskar. According to him, this result cannot be separated from the hard work and collaboration of the Bandung City PB Diskar team.

"We thank you. Support from all parties, also from our leaders, both the Mayor (Acting Mayor) and the Regional Secretary," said Gun Gun when contacted by Bandung City Public Relations.

He said that the key to excellent service from the Bandung City PB Diskar was preparedness and consistency. Also prayers and enthusiasm in every level of the fire department.

Gun Gun said, all firefighters are required to maintain health, stamina, accuracy and precision in carrying out their duties.

"We are on standby 24 hours and share alert hours. And every time we change platoons, we do prayer together and do physical warm-ups to maintain health and stability. After that, they check the readiness of the vehicles," he explained.

However, this award is not the end of Diskar PB Bandung City's efforts to provide the best service. Gun Gun ensures that services to the community will continue to be maintained, especially improved.
