Bandung City Satpol PP Controls a Number of Illegal Advertisements
The Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) again carried out a billboard control operation on Thursday 14 March 2024 evening. As a result, the team controlled the billboards on Jalan Siswa Pejuang and Jalan Soekarno-Hatta.
Head of the Public Order Section of the Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), R. Satriadi Buana, revealed that the order was carried out on Thursday 14 March 2024 at around 21.30 WIB. The control was deliberately carried out at night so as not to disrupt traffic order.
The control involved around 50 people with 7 fleet units, namely 1 Satpol PP Dalops Truck, 2 Satpol PP Transport Trucks, 1 Satpol PP Patrol KR Car, 2 technical team cars and 1 crane unit.
The first raid began on Jalan Siswa Pejuang (in front of the Asrilia hotel) at 21.30 WIB. At this point, Satpol PP controlled illegal advertisements measuring 4 x 6 meters.
At the next location, on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta (Sekelimus), Satpol PP also cut down unlicensed billboards.
He revealed that control of these advertisements was carried out based on Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 09 of 2019 concerning Public Order, Peace and Community Protection, Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 002 of 2017 concerning Implementation of Advertisements, and Bandung Mayor Regulation Number 005 of 2019.
"During the control of advertisements, all processes ran in fairly safe, smooth and conducive conditions," he said.
"Next, the evidence resulting from the control was transported to the evidence storage warehouse," added Satriadi. (ziz)**
