Ramadan Safari Momentum for Gathering of Ulama, Umaro and Community

The Bandung City Government (Pemkot) again held a Ramadan Safari and Tarawih prayers with the community at the Al-Fath Mosque, Pasadena Complex, North Margahayu Village, Babakan Ciparay District, Monday 25 March 2024.

On this Ramadan Safari, Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono was represented by Acting Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Hikmat Ginanjar.

Hikmat said that the Ramadan Safari was a momentum for friendship for ulama, umaro and the community.

He said that the upholding of the state really depends on the presence of ulama, umaro, benefactors and also the prayers of the fuqoro walmusakin.

"This togetherness will of course underlie our lives wherever we are. As long as we are in harmony with these three or four elements, God willing, life will be better and our job is to glorify each other," he said.

On this occasion, Hikmat also expressed his gratitude for the collaboration, contribution and cooperation that existed between all elements of society so that the city of Bandung became a safe and conducive city, thereby providing a high happiness index.

"Thank you for all this time. Thank God for the City of Bandung for our work and joint contribution from government to community elements for bringing our happiness index to a high level in society," he said.

"Therefore, let's maintain the city of Bandung as a safe and pleasant city," he added.

On this occasion, the Bandung City Government also distributed aid to representatives of preachers, mosque marshals, Koran teachers, sub-district MUI and DKM administrators.

Meanwhile, Chairman of DKM Al Fath Ahmad Mumamad Yusuf also expressed his gratitude for the presence of the Mayor of Bandung and the OPD staff at the Bandung City Government at the Ramadan Safari this evening.

He said the Ramadan Safari was a form of Bandung City Government's commitment and attention to the community.

"We see this Ramadan Safari program as a commitment, attention and concern from the leaders to the community. We really appreciate and appreciate this event," he said.

Furthermore, Ahmad revealed that the Al Fath Mosque had been established since 2007 and one of its main activities was the management of Al-Qur'an-based education.

"Thank God, the Islamic boarding school that we started was able to produce 11 students who memorized 30 juz of the Qur'an. The students also came from 14 provinces. Of course there was also assistance from the Bandung City Government," he said.

This Ramadan safari was also attended by Forkopimda, representatives of Bandung City DRPD, heads of OPD, Bandung City Ministry of Religion Office, Baznas, Bandung City MUI, Forkopimcam elements, village heads and heads of KUA in the former Tegalega area. (rob)**
