2,034 People Participate in Free Homecoming at Cicaheum Terminal

A total of 2,034 residents took part in the free homecoming organized by the Bandung City Government, West Java Provincial Government and Jasa Raharja. They departed from Cicaheum Terminal, Saturday 6 April 2024 for a number of areas.

One of the travelers, Sukiran (40) was very grateful for this free homecoming program.

"Mother is enough to help the economy which is currently weakening," he said at the Cicaheum Terminal, Saturday 6 April 2024.

"The list is easy, we can do it easily," he said.

He and 5 other family members will return home to the City of a Thousand Charms aka Kebumen, Central Java.

"I want to go home to Kebumen, the estimated journey will take around 9 hours if it goes well. Hopefully the journey will be smooth," he said.

Another homecoming, Haris (42) admitted that he would return to his hometown, Surabaya.

"The four of us want to go home to Surabaya, we have prepared well in advance, so that no one misses anything," he said.

He also appreciated this free homecoming program. The reason is that the bus he was on was very comfortable, from the seats, the size of the bus to the cool air conditioning.

"This makes you feel at home on the bus during the trip, that's good. Hopefully the trip will be safe and smooth," he said.

Meanwhile, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, took the time to greet travelers on the departing bus.

"Don't forget to pray, hopefully you will have a smooth journey and reach your destination safely," he said.

In the same place, the Regional Secretary of West Java Province, Herman Suryatman, revealed that currently 2,034 homecoming travelers are free at the Cicaheum Terminal.

"At the Cicaheum terminal there are 2,034 homecoming travelers with a total of 46 buses. A total of 1,550 homecoming travelers are being facilitated by West Java Province," he said.

Meanwhile, 234 homecoming travelers registered with the Bandung City Transportation Agency and 250 homecoming travelers by Jasa Raharja.

"Meanwhile, there are 36 buses operating from West Java Province, 5 buses from Bandung City and 5 buses from Jasa Raharja," he explained.

According to him, this activity is the government's commitment to providing services to the community.

"This activity is the government's commitment to provide the best service to the community," he said.

The buses operating the Bandung City Transportation Department's Free Homecoming are:

1. P.O. Eka route Solo/Surabaya via North (1 bus)
2. ⁠PO. Sugeng Rahayu heading to Surabaya via South (1 bus)
3. ⁠PO. Budiman to Yogyakarta (1 bus)
4. ⁠DAMRI Kuningan route (2 buses)

Free Homecoming Registration for Bandung City Transportation Department with Quota 234:
1. Solo/Surabaya (North) 40 passengers
2. Surabaya (south) 40 passengers
3. Yogyakarta (South) 40 passengers
