"Enjoy the Eid holidays in Bandung City, keep order and cleanliness. Please don't throw rubbish carelessly," said Bambang.

According to him, providing comfort, order and cleanliness at tourist attractions is the responsibility of all parties.

For this reason, Bambang invites the public to protect and maintain tourist destinations in the city of Bandung to attract local and foreign tourists.

Previously, to anticipate an increase in waste production at tourist attractions, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) had prepared a strategy to handle the increase in waste volume during the Idul Fitri 1445H celebration.

A total of 993 personnel will be deployed at busy points for residents, especially in market areas, street vendors (PKL) and tourist attractions. The Bandung City Government is determined to maintain the cleanliness of the environment and the comfort of the community.

The Bandung City Government has also prepared a strategy for April 12 and April 13, involving 997 personnel and 1,103 personnel respectively.

Apart from that, the Bandung City Government has alerted 706 personnel ranging from Satpol PP, Transportation Service to the Health Service so that the City of Bandung remains safe and conducive. The personnel will be on standby from 3 - 18 April 2024.

With various well-planned strategies and strong cooperation between the government and the community, it is hoped that the City of Bandung can maintain cleanliness, beauty and order and create a comfortable and clean atmosphere during the Idul Fitri 1445 H celebration. (rob)**
