He instructed the Transportation Service to immediately identify and handle it persuasively.

"The issue of illegal parking is homework which of course must be resolved. First identify the problem, then handle it. That is persuasive and does not rule out the possibility of further handling," said Bambang at the Bandung City Transportation Service Office, Wednesday 17 April 2024.

He said that the illegal parking problem must be resolved immediately because it will impact city order. Moreover, the city of Bandung is known as a service and tourism city which of course can also have an impact on the tourism sector.

"Illegal parking or parking lots have an impact on tourists. Comfort is the main thing. We are trying to explain the problem," he said.

Furthermore, he will also take firm action if it is found that ASN individuals are involved in illegal parking in the city of Bandung.

"When we talk about city ASN, of course there are rules. We will take action if there is involvement," he said.

Bambang also appealed to the public to park in official parking lots and report any irregularities related to parking fees.

"Education to residents and anyone else must continue. Let's solve it together," he said.

He is optimistic that with the collaborative work of all parties, the problem of illegal parking will soon be handled well.

"I feel optimistic that friends from the Transportation Department and of course also collaborating with other partners can solve potential problems," he said. (rob)**
