The reason is that this is part of the Bandung City Government's services to the community.

"Congestion points still exist. We have to prepare integrative steps," said Bambang while leading the Morning Call which was combined with Monitoring of the Bandung City Transportation Agency Office, Wednesday 17 April 2024.

According to him, solving traffic jams in the city of Bandung must be carried out comprehensively and involve cross-sectors.

Apart from that, he also asked the Transportation Department to immediately resolve the illegal parking problem which is still widespread.

"There are parking lots that are outside of the provisions that cause inconvenience that must be addressed immediately. I believe that the ranks of the Bandung City Transportation Department and the Parking UPTD have an effective strategy that we can resolve," he said.

He also highlighted that street lighting is still not optimal. For this reason, he asked the Transportation Department to collaborate with various stakeholders to present Bandung Caang Baranang.

Apart from that, Bambang appreciated the performance of the Transportation Department so that the implementation of Eid Al-Fitr in Bandung City was safe, conducive and controlled.

"I really appreciate all levels of the Bandung City Transportation Department that during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, Bandung City is in conducive conditions and generally controlled conditions," he said.

According to him, the number of accidents continues to decline compared to 2023. This good performance must continue to be improved in providing the best service to the community.

"We have to fix everything and of course for future agendas for big holidays, whatever they are called, they have to be better," asked Bambang. (rob)**
