"The city of Bandung is a city of services and tourism. This must be translated in detail, one of which is the existence of Dekranasda," said Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono at the Bandung City Dekranasda Gathering, at the Patrakomala Gallery, Thursday 18 April 2024.

He revealed that in the city of Bandung there are 11 thousand small and medium entrepreneurs. Therefore, the Bandung City Dekranasda must have a promotion development role.

Currently, the city of Bandung has 3 galleries that present various kinds of local products in the city of Bandung. Starting from Patrakomala Gallery, Jalan Jakarta, Dekranasda Gallery, at MPP, Jalan Cianjur and Salapak Mirkoshop, at Horison Hotel, Jalan Siswa Pejuang.

Even though there are various galleries, Bambang emphasized that evaluation is needed to continue to accelerate the improvement of local product branding.

"We evaluate together. I think everyone agrees that we have to move up a class. How do we do that? We have to improve ourselves without feeling complacent. This is motivation for everyone," he stressed.

In the same place, Acting Chair of the Bandung City Dekranasda, Linda Nurani Hapsah, revealed that the Bandung City Dekranasda is currently in the acceleration class. Namely by holding various trainings.

According to Linda, this is the starting point for the next, more massive agenda.

"In the month of Ramadan, Dekranasda succeeded in carrying out the Ramadan Bazzar. From this activity, we will evaluate the competitiveness class, including product types with price adjustments," he said.

He also hopes that the administrators will remain enthusiastic in providing knowledge to MSME players, both new and existing.

"In terms of increasing turnover, we provide training and education so that they are more understanding and agile in selling. We are further popularizing the business. There is a difference between marketing strategy and business strategy," said Linda. (yan)**
