In Bandung City, There Were No Accidents During the Eid Homecoming Period
Acting Head of the Bandung City Transportation Service (Dishub), Asep Kuswara, revealed that during the Eid 1445H homecoming period, in Bandung City there were no motor vehicle accidents.
This is proof of the government's readiness to face Eid, especially roadworthy vehicles, running optimally.
"Thank God there were no accidents. We have prepared from March 27 - April 2 to carry out ramp checks in the pool and at the terminal," said Asep at Bandung City Hall, Friday 19 April 2024.
"We ramp checked at the pool area where tourist (travel) vehicles will not enter the terminal. So if the group uses them to go home, we are sure that the vehicle is roadworthy and operational," he added.
Asep said that his party also educates drivers about the need for rest.
"The driver has to rest every 4 hours. So don't force it, as long as you have the load, don't think about your body condition. You have to rest," said Asep. (yan)**
