To Make Complaints and Feedback Easier, Bandung City Government Will Integrate Complaint Services

In order to increase efficiency and minimize public confusion regarding complaint services, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) is planning to restructure the existing system. As a first step, the Bandung City Government will integrate various complaint channels with a single operator who can handle all complaints and input from the public.

This was conveyed by the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono at the Leadership Meeting at Bandung City Hall, Tuesday, April 23 2024.

"It is important for us to simplify the complaint process so that people are not confused by the many choices," said Bambang.

Apart from that, this simplification is also intended for more efficient use of human resources.

"By consolidating services, we hope to be able to utilize existing resources more efficiently, while still providing quality service to all parties."

This step is also directed at ensuring that all levels of society can be accommodated properly, without having to be confused about choosing from the various existing complaint channels.

"The point is that the Bandung City Government must provide maximum service without confusing the public," he explained.

Thus, Bambang hopes that this restructuring can provide solutions that are more accessible and equitable for all parties who need them.

The decision to restructure the complaint service was mutually agreed upon in order to support the government's vision to provide better services to the community.

"With collaboration between various parties, it is hoped that this step will bring real benefits to all stakeholders involved." he concluded. (ziz)**
