May Begin Implementation, Acting Mayor of Bandung Asks for Community Support Regarding Braga Free Vehicle

"One of the icons of the city of Bandung is Braga. We want Jalan Braga to return to its original function. God willing, next week (it will be implemented). We ask for support from everyone," said Bambang at Bandung City Hall, Friday 26 April 2024.

Even though it is still in the planning stage, Bambang hopes that the implementation of Braga without vehicles will be able to run optimally.

"On weekends only, starting in May on Saturdays and Sundays. Please also educate the media and publish proportionally to the public, that this is not the desire of the city government but the desire of all," he said.

Bandung City is a service and tourism city, Bambang hopes that BFV will be able to attract tourists to Bandung City.

"The hope is simple, the city of Bandung is a city of services and tourism. What do you want to sell? One of them is to attract tourists and also the residents of the city of Bandung. Everyone can enjoy Jalan Braga which we will test on Jalan Braga Panjang," he said.

According to him, this implementation has gone through a comprehensive study.
