The PLT for the mayor of bandung Yana Mulyana encouraged Perumda BPR to refocus on its substance, namely as a fundraiser and disbursing credit from and to the public.

This was revealed by Yana during the dismissal of the Perumda BPR Supervisory Board and the appointment of the BPR Perumda Supervisory Board for the 2020-2024 period, at Perumda BPR Bandung City, Friday 31 December 2021.

“BPR is a people's credit agency. Don't deal with corporates, it should be detailed. Moreover, we have Perumda Pasar with the potential of 37 traditional markets and almost 17 thousand traders," he said.

According to him, Perumda BPR must be able to adapt to current conditions. Because of course there will be changes, and consumer behavior will certainly change.

"Of course, with digitalization, one thing we have to do is because in the future people will be very dependent on digital," he said.

Furthermore, Yana hopes that with the appointment of a new supervisory body, they will be able to work in accordance with their respective main tasks and functions.

“Hopefully the supervisory body can carry out its duties properly. Please don't betray the trust, the key is that," he pleaded.

"As long as they have the same commitment, I am sure that Perumda BPR can move forward and no one will play games, let alone betray the trust we have given them," he said.

It should be noted, based on the Decree of the Mayor of Bandung Number 538/Kep.1197-Ek/2021, Aris Arifin and Asef Effendi were appointed as members of the Supervisory Board for Perumda BPR Bandung City for 2020-2024.(tan)**
