This Monday, January 10, 2022, is the first day of his child entering school face-to-face 100 percent.

"Last semester, entry was 3 days a week, from 07.00-08.00 WIB. Now entry has started every day, from 07.00-09.00 WIB," said Prita, one of the parents of class 1C students at this school.

Prita is enthusiastic about this 100 percent PTM because her child can focus more and understand learning easily.

"I prefer PTM. The problem is that when I'm at home I'm worried that my child won't understand the explanation from the video. For PTM the teacher can explain it directly. Children are also happy because they can meet their friends," said Prita.

SDN 029 Cilengkrang is one of the pilot schools for Face-to-face Learning (PTM) in Bandung. Thorough preparations to welcome 100 percent PTM can be seen in this school.

Paths in and out are distinguished by color. The blue color is for the entrance, while the yellow color is for the exit. This is done to avoid crowds of students while at school.

In this school there are also four sinks that can be used to wash hands. Two of them have stepped taps, thus avoiding the transmission of viruses and bacteria through tap water.

The schedule was divided into two sessions, namely morning and afternoon. Where in one session consists of 14-20 students in one class.

The Assistant Principal (PKS) for Curriculum, SDN 029 Cilengkrang, Titis Madianing Ratri ensured that all SOPs and preparations had been carried out in advance.

"Earlier in June last year, our children had practiced this PTM system even though it was only 50 percent. So, if you look now at the 100 percent PTM period, the habits of checking temperature, washing hands, and keeping a distance have become the culture of the students here. ," he explained.

Titis added that the 100 percent PTM system was enthusiastically welcomed by parents, teachers and students.

Even though Titis admitted that in the early days of the PTM period it was 25 percent in 2021, there were still many parents who were hesitant to allow their children to go back to school.

"But since 50 percent PTM in June 2021, parents have begun to be enthusiastic and trust their children to go to school face-to-face. Even with children, they prefer PTM because they can meet their friends again," said Titis.

To ensure 100 percent PTM runs smoothly, SDN 029 Cilengkrang has also carried out vaccine procedures according to the direction of the Bandung City Government. More than 75% of the students in this school have received dose 1 vaccine.

"Indeed, there are still some who have not been vaccinated due to age and health factors. However, we will monitor this and continue to help so that we can carry out the vaccine for at least dose 1 first," explained Titis.

The enthusiasm of the 100 percent PTM in Bandung is not only felt by parents and teachers, but also the students at SDN 029 Cilengkrang.

Among them, Adella and Dani. Adella, who is now sitting on bench 1C, is the first student to come to this school since 06.30 WIB.

While playing with her name tag, Adella shared that she was happy to be back in school after a long time. Adella also brought hand sanitizer and spare masks to prevent the corona virus.

"I prefer to go straight to school, I can meet friends. Mama was escorted to school earlier. I also brought hand sanitizer and a mask," said Adella.

Dani, a grade 3C student also admitted the same thing. He prefers to study directly at school rather than remotely from home.

"At school, you can ask the teacher directly if you don't understand. You can meet friends too. If you're just studying at home, you get bored," said Dani.(dina)**
