To ensure that development goes according to campaign promises, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) held a public consultation on the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) at the Grandia Hotel on, Tuesday 18 January 2022.

"The 2023 RAPBD is very strategic. Because it is the fifth year of leadership. Realizing the promise during the campaign," said the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana when opening the event.

He said the RKPD is a reference for regional apparatus in perfecting work plans and guidelines for drafting the RAPBD.

Therefore, Yana requested that regional officials continue to focus on achieving performance targets. Especially for those that have not been achieved in the previous period's development plan.

"Therefore, this public consultation can increase synergies in building the city of Bandung, which essentially fulfills public needs based on the principles of equity and justice," he said.

In addition, Yana said, every program and activity must consider the financial capacity of the region so that it is necessary to determine the priority scale.

Mainly related to the improvement of the city's economy. The degree of public health, infrastructure, education, poverty alleviation, expansion of job opportunities.

"The income from Bapenda must be visible. Because the ratio of the RAPBD is small, personnel expenditures may remain or even increase, the income ratio will remain or decrease, the ratio will definitely increase," Yana explained.

He hopes that this public consultation will further enrich ideas related to development at the end of the term that integrates programs.

"Not only that, it also includes the activities of the central, provincial, and city governments with the aspirations and initiatives of the people," he said. (yes)**
