Ema directly discovered the destruction of public facilities along Jalan Juanda. Several iron chairs and tables that had been planted with nuts were missing from their places. There were three tables and eight chairs missing.

Then, there are graffiti on two chairs and an iron table.

He found this while cycling with a number of service heads after seeing the location of the cable grounding location on Jalan Juanda, Friday, January 28, 2022.

According to Ema, these irresponsible perpetrators need to be made viral, as was the case with the vandalism the other day in Babakan Siliwangi.

"People like this usually think short. We need to make it viral and the legal process is also a deterrent," said Ema

Every point that is found to be missing or damaged public facilities, Ema always stops for a moment. He coordinates with security guards around.

"Is there no CCTV around here? When we meet again there is an incident like this, immediately notify Diskominfo. Let's just make it viral. While we will also fix this facility," said Ema.

Ema also said that there was a need for a task force (satgas) to take turns monitoring the condition of public facilities throughout the city of Bandung.

"I think we need to create a task force. Yes, so that there will be regular monitoring. So that something like this doesn't happen again," he said.

Responding to this case, the Head of the Bandung City Communication and Information Office (Diskominfo), Yayan Ahmad Brilyana, appealed to the people of Bandung to also take part in reporting acts of destruction of public facilities through social media with #Do not be imitated.

"In accordance with Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 9 of 2019 concerning Public Order, Peace and Community Protection (Tibumtran Linmas), we will also viral the perpetrators, just like yesterday's vandalism case. The goal is to cause social sanctions. Other residents who find cases like this, can report to us," said Yayan. (din)**
