BPK Will Submit Results of Bandung City Government LKPD Examination Next Week

The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) of the Republic of Indonesia has examined the financial statements of the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) for 2021. Furthermore, BPK will examine financial assistance for political parties sourced from the 2021 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).

This was explained at the BPK exit meeting at Bandung City Hall on, Tuesday 15 March 2022.

The Deputy in charge of the BPK RI West Java Province, Cut Putri Nehrisyah, revealed that the results of the examination in the form of "unaudited" Regional Financial Reports (LKPD) will be submitted to the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana on 22 March.

"We plan to submit it at the BPK representative office for West Java Province," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the audit of political parties' finances, Nehrisyah said, it would start from March 16 to March 22. There are as many as 9 political parties that will be examined with a total budget of Rp1.8 billion.

"The political parties examined include Gerindra, PKS, PDIP, Golkar, PKB, Democrats, PPP, Nasdem, and PSI," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna, thanked the inspection team who had worked for 35 working days.

"As long as we can coordinate and communicate well, all problems can be solved. So the Bandung City label since the last 3 years has never dropped out of class," said Ema.

"Hopefully this implementation can provide reinforcement, that the Bandung City Budget will again get the best assessment," he added.

It should be noted that for the last three years, the Bandung City Government LKPD has always received an Unqualified Assessment (WTP) by the BPK. (asy)**
