The Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna, ensured the lands that would be used in Gedebage Tasikmalaya Cilacap (Getaci) Toll Construction would not lead to disputes.

“Lands in Bandung City are currently in no disputes, we believe that those (lands) in Bandung are clear,” Ema said during the Ekspose Pengadaan Tanah event for Getaci Toll in ATR/BPN Office Kanwil of West Java, Wednesday, 13 April 2022.

He said that land provision in Bandung City would not take too much time. Out of 28,1 hectares of lands in Bandung City for the toll, around 95% of them belonged to governmental institutions.

“There is only a private land. Bandung is not too difficult and complex in processing this,” he said.

Moreover, Ema warmly welcomed the Getaci Toll construction. He believed that the toll construction was an urgent matter that would increase connectivity and its benefits would be felt by the public.

“I have longed for transportation connections that would connect the downtown to the east side,” he said.

“Currently, traffic volume is at 13,5% per year. On the other hand, the number of road increases slowly. This is urgent. This (the toll) being constructed, I believe, is amazing,” Ema said.

Ema said that currently, the Bandung City Government was planning for road expansion for South Gedebage St. It was to support the interchange at kilometre of 149 Gedebage of Toll that connect to Soekarno Hatta St.

“We perform a short-term acceleration and there will be a land acquisition in south Gedebage, an alternative if the KM 149 has been operating, it will connect to Soekarno Hatta St.,” he emphasized.

Additionally, Commitment Maker Officials (PPK) of Land Provision for Getaci Toll of the Ministry of PUPR, Ade Sudrajat, said that the Ministry of Public Works and Pubic Housing (PUPR) would begin the land provision in the Getaci Toll construction for its first segment: Gedebage – North Garut.

The plan of the toll construction for Gedebage – Garut segment crosses 3 regencies/cities, they are: 392,68 hectares of Bandung Regency, 258 hectares of Garut Regency, and 28,1 hectares of Bandung City located in Rancabolang Ward, Gedebage Sub-district.

“The land provision for the toll construction had started since March 2022,” he emphasized.

Ade said that, currently, they had set the land borders for the acquired private land for Getaci Toll.

There are 1467 affected buildings in Garut Regency, around 855 units (58%), and 612 units of buildings (42%) in Bandung Regency. Whereas, in Bandung City, it does not affect any buildings for the toll construction plan.

“Next, the appraisal team will decide the land acquisition replacement that will be directly contacted to the land owner,” he continued.

Getaci Toll crosses two provinces: West Java (171,40 kilometres) and Central Java (35,25 kilometres) with a total of 206,65 kilometres, making this the longest toll in Indonesia.

The toll is one of the national strategic projects, as stated in the Presidential Regulation No. 109 of 2020 on National Strategic Project Acceleration.

Getaci toll consists of 4 sections, they are Section 1 Gedebage-North Garut Junction with the length of 45,20 kilometre, Section 2 North Garut-Tasikmalaya with the length of 50,32 kilometre.

Section 3 Tasikmalaya-Patimuan with the length of 76,78 kilometre, and section 4 Patimuan-Cilacap with the length of 34,35 kilometre.

This toll will have nine intersections and one junction which is Gedebage junction that will be connected with Padalarang-Cileunyi (Padaleunyi). (rob)**
