Investing is easy with the Invest Bandung Application

The easing of the Covid-19 pandemic is in line with the revival of economic activity in the city of Bandung. As an answer, there is a sophisticated application for investors who want to do business in the city of Bandung.

Yes, the name is Invest Bandung. In search engines, this application can be accessed through the invest.bandung.go.id page.

In the Presentation and Interview of the 2022 Public Service Competition, Bandung City Secretary Ema Sumarna said this application was an adaptation step taken by the Bandung City Government in welcoming digital-based economic activities that were increasingly widespread.

"We are trying to see the situation and conditions (pandemic) by adjusting (digital-based services). Hopefully we can continue to adapt in the future, so that the economic recovery process continues," said Ema at City Hall Wednesday, June 30, 2022.

Please note, this application has been running for 2 years. Ema said that the presence of Invest Bandung was part of the implementation of government management based on innovation, collaboration, and decentralization.

Reflecting on the data, Ema said that the Bandung City Government experienced an increase in the rate of economic growth and public services. Ema said, this application provides information based on sub-regions with various specificities and diversity according to competence and needs.

"This application is based on the aspect of need. Its features are easily accessible, regarding potential, business sector, and investment opportunities to be used as an investment process in Bandung City," he said.

On the same occasion, Head of the Bandung City Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP), Ronny Ahmad Nurdin, said that this application could show investment opportunities in the city of Bandung in one touch.

Ronny said, with collaboration, data related to potential and various things about investment will be packaged more and can be developed. The information obtained by potential investors will be more complete.

"We are also developing an investment forum, thus enabling the development of information for potential investors. The application includes a spatial map so that potential investors can get certainty about opportunities and permits," he said.

Both Ema and Ronny explained that in the second year of their journey, the Invest Bandung application will continue to be processed and developed in the hope that it can become an aspect of the driving force for economic growth in the city of Bandung.
