RI 77th Anniversary, Yana: Recovering Faster and Rising Stronger, Bandung City Will Soon Be Normal

This was revealed by Yana after carrying out the ceremony for the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Bandung City level at Bandung City Hall, Wednesday, August 17, 2022.

"Thank God the pandemic has subsided, so that we can rise again in accordance with the theme of this commemoration, Recover Faster, Rise Up Stronger," he said.

However, Yana emphasized that all efforts must be balanced with the implementation of health protocols.

"Economic recovery, socio-cultural activities have also begun to be carried out closer to normal, but must implement prokes," Yana asked.

Meanwhile, in her speech, Yana said that independence is a gift that can determine the direction of a nation's journey without the intervention of foreign powers.

"If the struggle to achieve and maintain independence is carried out by taking up arms, at this time the struggle must rely on thinking power, hard work, integrity to high discipline as well as developing creativity and innovation with socio-economic and cultural values," he explained.

Especially at this time, said Yana, still facing Covid-19. So that all the potential of the nation is required to be involved in overcoming it. Including helping to restore economic life.

"Therefore, the commemoration of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia must be a momentum for strengthening all components of society and the government to resolve the pandemic and at the same time rise to achieve a better future," he said.

Regarding the economic recovery, Yana appealed to the residents of Bandung City to get used to shopping at the nearest stall or to their neighbors.

"This effort is called the restoration and actualization of the value of the struggle as inherited by the heroes so that we can return to a normal and more competitive life," he said.(yan)**
