The two of them came to Bandung City to discuss regional cooperation regarding the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE), Thursday 1 September 2022.

After the signing of the cooperation, Regent Ogan Ilir Panca Wijaya Akbar said, Bandung City is a level II area recommended for other regions to learn to accelerate electronic-based public services.

He also came to Bandung City last December 2021 to replicate the SPBE that was already in effect.

“About three months after we launched (SPBE), there are still obstacles related to human resources and technology. Therefore, we came to Bandung City to smooth out our SPBE so that it is the same as in Bandung City, for services to the Ogan Ilir community, "he said.

The Mayor of Prabumulih, Ridho Yahya, said the same thing. Bandung City SPBE service acceleration inspires the region to learn.

"We need to learn from areas that are more developed," he said.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, welcomes other regions who want to learn from the City of Bandung regarding public services.

Many of Bandung's public service innovations were born in the early phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, early 2020.

"On the other hand, the pandemic is a blessing because we accelerate public services by minimizing face-to-face contact. Therefore, in each OPD we make a number of applications," he said.

Yana said, now is the time to accelerate the Bandung City Government's public services, which is also accompanied by a process of economic recovery.

"Moreover, the Covid-19 pandemic situation in Bandung is relatively under control. Hopefully this is all thanks to the vaccination process as our effort to fight the pandemic," he said.

For information, currently the vaccination process in Bandung is at 114 percent for the first dose, 104 percent for the second dose. While the third dose as much as 48 percent and the fourth dose as much as 13 percent. (ray)**
