A total of 427 officers and 16 trucks are ready to handle New Year's Eve Garbage
Ready to handle waste on New Year's Eve 2023, the UPTD Waste Management for the Bandung City Environment and Sanitation Service (DLHK) sent 427 cleaning workers to several locations.
In addition, 16 trucks, 4 pickups, and 55 sumosa (three-wheeled trash motorbikes) were also deployed to help cleaning workers during the New Year's moment.
It is planned that there will be five locations that will be the focus of waste management, including the following:
1. Waste Management in the Cibeunying Area
In this area there are several locations for cleaning waste, including Jalan Ir. Djuanda (Dago), Diponegoro, Soekarno, Braga, the Gasibu Field area, Monju, Pusdai, and around Pasar Baru.
The personnel and fleet prepared in the Cibeunying City Sub-region (SWK) for the 2023 New Year's Eve Cleaning Operation, namely 2 trucks, 96 cleaners, and 18 sumosaurs.
2. Waste Management in the Tegalega Area
For the Tegalega area, the location points include Jalan Cibaduyut, Leuwi Panjang, Sudirman, Astana Anyar, Student Perjuangan, Panjunan, Pajagalan, Cibadak, Pagarsih, Soekarno-Hatta, Moch. Toha, and BKR Map.
The personnel and fleet prepared at SWK Tegalega for the 2023 New Year's Eve Cleaning Operation are 5 units of trucks, 66 cleaners, and 7 sumosaurs.
3. Garbage Handling in the Karees Area
Meanwhile, in the Karees area, there are a number of location points, such as Jalan Asia Afrika, Kepatihan, Otto Iskandardinata, Pungkur, Lengkong Kecil, Ibrahim Ajie, Pelangi Bridge, Jalan Jakarta, Gatot Soebroto, Jalan Buah Batu, the area around the Alun-Alun Park, and around the lights. Cicaheum red.
The personnel and fleet prepared at SWK Karees for the 2023 New Year's Eve Cleaning Operation are 3 units of trucks, 115 cleaners, and 15 sumosaurs.
4. Waste Management in the Bojonegara Region
Meanwhile, in the Bojonegara region, the location points include Jalan Setiabudi, Sukajadi, Pasteur, Padjajaran, Pasirkaliki, Sudirman, Kebonjati, Gardujati, and Otto Iskandardinata (the New Market area).
The personnel and fleet prepared at SWK Bojonegara for the 2023 New Year's Eve Cleaning Operation, namely 3 trucks, 70 cleaners, 10 sumosaurs.
5. Special Waste Handling (Tactical)
Not only the four points above, in supporting the New Year's Eve activities DLHK also prepared special handling carried out by the Tactical Team.
As many as 14 cleaning personnel were deployed, 1 garbage motorbike driver, 3 sweeper cars, 1 6 cubic meter truck, and 2 pickup/mini dump cars will go around to monitor several potential points of crowded locations.
Even though they have prepared officers, the Bandung City Government hopes that residents who will celebrate New Year's Eve will maintain cleanliness for the sake of mutual comfort.
