"The city of Bandung is following the President's direction (switching to electric cars). We hope to be able to encourage and improve the environmental ecosystem to make it greener," said Yana, Friday 6 January 2023.

He admitted, there were several adjustments when trying out this electric vehicle. Even so, Yana positively welcomed this convergence.

"There are adjustments. Like when turning on. But it's still fun (when trying to drive an electric car)," said Yana.

To note, the electric car used by the Bandung City Government is of the Ionic 5 type with purchases using the regional budget.

For charging, Yana hopes that in the future there will be a charging station, especially in the City Hall area. This is to facilitate access to charging for people who use electric cars.

In this regard, he hopes that electric car manufacturers can build a charging station (in the City Hall area).

"We hope there is a charging point, for example in Taman Dewi Sartika. And it must be free (free). While I charge at home," he said. (ray)**
