This was stated by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna when reviewing the location of the construction of the Nurtanio flyover in Cicendo and Andir Districts, Wednesday 8 March 2023.

"We are checking the city assets that will be donated according to the PUPR ministry's request. We are checking from the area of land owned by the municipal government, how much will be taken from this flyover," he said.

"After taking measurements, there are around 1,500 meters of municipal government land that will be donated in order to support the flyover," he added.

Apart from that, in the review, Ema also ensured that the Green Open Space (RTH) affected by development would be rebuilt.

"There must be a redesign, especially regarding green open space which is affected and must be remade. Of course the park cannot be lost," he said.

Regarding development progress, currently, said Ema, a location determination (Penlok) and land acquisition process are being prepared. According to him, around 81 buildings were affected.

"All residents, both in the Andir area and in the Cicendo area, have been reported as 'clear'. This is an extraordinary progress. It remains only to deal with the administrative aspects, one of which is about penlok, targeted to be completed this week," said Ema.

According to Ema, with the presence of the Nurtanio flyover, it can add value to its benefits after the construction of the high-speed rail is also minimizing the impact of congestion in the area.

"I'm sure this flyover has an extraordinary value in minimizing the traffic jams that often occur in this area," he said.

The length of the Nurtanio flyover is planned to reach a length of around 937 meters with a construction span of 210 meters.

Along 550 meters, the Nurtanio flyover stretches from Jalan Nurtanio to Jalan Abdurahman Saleh Bandung.

Plans for the construction of the 550-meter Nurtanio flyover will be worked on in August 2023.

Construction is targeted for completion in April 2024 with an estimated construction time of around 14 months.

The construction of the Nurtanio flyover is a program from the central government implemented in the city of Bandung. (rob)**
