"We want to make sure the concept of structuring street vendors in Tegalega includes meeting with street vendor coordinators in Tegalega. It turns out that what we have designed has been slightly redesigned," said Ema while reviewing Tegalega street vendors, Friday 26 May 2023.

"The street vendors want it not to be individual but to have a blocking system, so this is what we will think about," he added.

Currently, there are 482 street vendors in the Tegalega area. The traders are divided into 2 zones, namely 207 East Tegalega street vendors (Moh Toha Street) and 275 West Tegalega street vendors (Otista Street).

Tegalega street vendors cover a wide range of merchandise, including food, accessories, vegetables and fruits.

After the design is finished and socialization is carried out again to the street vendors, Ema hopes that the arrangement will be carried out soon.

Of the two zones prepared, according to him, the West Tegalega zone (Otista Street) is very representative and proportional for restructuring.

Meanwhile, the East Tegalega zone (Jalan Moh Toha) is being redesigned to accommodate the wishes of street vendors.

Ema hopes that the arrangement of Tegalega street vendors can be realized immediately to create an orderly and comfortable Bandung for the community.

"So that this place is maintained because this is an urban forest, a place for sports, we make it comfortable. We will make arrangements as soon as possible," he said. (rob)**
