The Head of the Bandung City Social Service (Dinsos), Soni Bakhtiar said, as citizens, Muslims are aware that the values they profess are integrated within the framework of Pancasila.

"Muslims need to understand the noble values contained in the Koran which are the values of Pancasila. This Tadarus is intended for all ASN and BUMD employees within the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) as a means to learn the contents of the values of the Koran," explained Soni.

According to him, the Koran is a guideline for human life, containing advice that directs humans to the life of the world and the hereafter.

Therefore, Soni hopes that the Bandung Koran City program will foster the mentality of ASN and BUMD employees in the Bandung City Government in order to foster emotional and spiritual intelligence.

"With this activity, hopefully the motivational values in the Koran can be transformed to all ASN and BUMD employees so that the life of the nation and state can be understood in the diversity of the framework of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika," he hoped.

In this activity, ASNs were also guided to read the Koran with the appropriate rules and tartil. The reading of the Koran is guided directly by Ustaz Biki Abdillah. The letter read this time is Al Baqarah verse 186.

"The perfection of our reading is an indication of our faith in Allah. Judging from reading the Koran according to the rules," said Biki.

Not only reading, the participants also recited Al-Baqarah verse 186 with K.H Ahmad Humaidi.

Ahmad explained the reason for the revelation of the verse, which is related to an inland Arab interpreting the existence of Allah.

"Is Allah near or far? If he is near, we will pray to him without any intermediaries. If he is far away, we will call him. That's what the Bedouin Arabs said at that time," said Ahmad.

He added that there were several lessons to be learned from the letter. First, Allah is very close to His servants. If you are close to Allah, it means that a servant is guaranteed to have leaning on Allah.

"In Ar-Razi's interpretation, close means not being close to the way and place. Allah's closeness to a servant is because Allah knows, sees, and protects us," he explained.

Second, Allah is the answerer of prayer. In answering the prayer, Allah gives three alternatives to His servant.

"God has given three alternatives for the acceptance of prayers, which are hastened, suspended in the afterlife, or turned away from things that are not good," he continued.

He also said, if a prayer wants to be answered immediately by God, then pay attention to several aspects, including the times when prayers are answered.

"Don't let us eat, drink, and use something that is haram. Then, take advantage of the efficacious times in prayer. Such as when traveling or traveling long distances, when it rains, or when fasting," he added. (din)**
