A Number of Offenders At Tipiring Trial, Satpol PP Invites Communities to Be Proactive in Maintaining Order

Certain business code violators who were caught in the Copyright Condition for Alcoholic Beverages and Drugs without a permit ahead of the Month of Ramadan, Thursday 16 March 2023 underwent a trial at the Special Class 1A Bandung District Court, Friday 17 March 2023.

A total of 5 violators underwent trials for minor crimes (Tipiring) for violations of Article 25 paragraphs (1) and (2) Jo. Article 55 Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2019 concerning Tibumtranlinmas.

"This is a follow-up to the process of creating conditions that was held yesterday in several places in the city of Bandung," said the Head of the Investigation and Enforcement Section of the Bandung Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Mujahid Syuhada.

Violators are punished with a fine of IDR 1,500,000, a subsidiary of 1 month in prison. They were declared to have violated Article 25 paragraph 1 and 2 Junto Article 55 (1) Regional Regulation Number 9 of 2019 concerning Public Order in the City of Bandung.

He appealed to the people of Bandung City to be equally proactive if they find violations around their residence.

"Don't hesitate to report to us. We will take action, of course," said Mujahid.

Previously, the Bandung City Satpol PP together with the Police and the Bandung City Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) held an Unlicensed Copy of Conditions for Alcoholic Drinks and Drugs ahead of the Month of Ramadan, Thursday 16 March 2023 from evening to evening.

As a result, the Bandung City Satpol PP and BPOM secured a total of thousands of drugs sold without a permit and dozens of alcoholic drinks of various types and classes.

Furthermore, the goods that were secured were confiscated by the Bandung City BPOM.

The creation of these conditions was held in several places, namely the Laswi, Cikudapateuh, and Peta areas. (rob)*
