Nuzulul Quran, Let's Introspect Ourselves
Commemorating the night of Nuzulul Quran, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono, invited residents, especially Muslims, to introspect themselves.
"This has a huge meaning, we should introspect ourselves more, that the Koran is a guide to life," said Bambang during the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran Night at the Al Ukhuwah Mosque, Wednesday 27 March 2024.
He revealed that as a guide for humans, the Qur'an contains an order and way of life that is able to direct a human being to become a quality person.
"The Koran produces quality individuals because they have strong integrity in maintaining principles," he said.
Meanwhile, in his lecture, K.H Muctar Kholid said that the Koran is a guide to life. This holy book has goodness and superiority.
"When someone reads the Koran, they get a reward, and those who hear it also get a reward," he said.
He added, people who read the Koran will get enormous rewards, therefore it is highly recommended to read and study it.
"Ahlul Koran is a Muslim who uses the Koran as a guide to life. So if someone is reading the Koran, they are obliged to listen to it. Many people when they read the Koran are chatting, this is a sin. be aware of it. So listen quietly. So that we can get grace," he said.
Muctar added, if you often read the Koran, as a human being you will receive guidance.
"By reading the Koran, taufik will flow and receive guidance. The more often you read, the more open the door to guidance will be, God willing," he said.
Therefore, he invited the congregation to read the Koran and study it as a guide to life.
"Let's make it a routine to read the Koran. Interpret each verse and understand it, God willing, blessings and guidance," he said. (yan)**
