For those of you who don't know, 112 is an emergency service belonging to the Bandung City Government which is controlled by the Bandung Command Center. This service is integrated with various agencies in the city of Bandung.

The Head of the Communications and Informatics Service, Yayan Ahmad Brilyana, reminded the public not to hesitate to use this application if there is an emergency case in the city of Bandung. The mechanism of action is relatively easy; just take your cellphone, then press 112, and you will be connected to the Bandung Command Center which will be integrated with the relevant agencies.

"We want to provide comfort and peace to the community in emergency services. We want to act quickly and appropriately for the community," said Yayan.

Based on data from Bandung Call Center 112, the response time of the 112 application ranges from 44 minutes. Yayan added that for emergency cases, the response time would not be more than 5 minutes.

"At 5 minutes. What time does the complaint come," he continued.

Bandung City Government also continues to evaluate various aspects of support for the 112 application. Starting from the operator, application, and coordination, all receive attention and evaluation.

"All provide the best service for the people of Bandung," he said.

Yayan also added that currently Diskominfo Bandung continues to introduce and socialize to the public about 112 which has been integrated in the Smart City application.

In addition, Yayan explained that the Panic Button is also being maximized so that it can be reused by the people of Bandung City.

On the other hand, he hopes for cooperation from all relevant agencies to provide services and proper follow-up of the application. Moreover, this 112 application is not owned by all cities in Indonesia.

"We will take swift action for the safety of the public. Like yesterday, when we were forced to cut dangling cables that could endanger road users,” he said.

In closing, Yayan hopes that the application can be used as much as possible by the community. He also appealed to the public not to panic.

"Please make the best of it. Don't hesitate to press the button, we serve 24 hours," he said. (ray)**
