Joint Operation: Obedient Residents, Bandung City Conditions

Ensuring that the city of Bandung is conducive during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) and the ranks of the Bandung City Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) held a large-scale joint operation.

This joint operation is an effort to provide a sense of security and order in the Bandung City area.

The Acting Mayor (Plt) of the Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana, together with the Forkopimda ranks, started joint operations starting from the Kodam III/Siliwangi Headquarters.

This joint operation was also attended by the Military Commander III/Siliwangi, TNI Major General Kunto Arief Wibowo, West Java Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General Bariza Sulfi, Bandung Police Chief, Pol Kombes Aswin Sipayung and Dandim 0618/BS, Lt. Col. Inf. Donny Ismuali Bainuri.

After traveling along several streets that became the center of the crowd using a motorbike, Yana ensured that the situation in Bandung was safe and conducive.

"Alhamdulillah, together with the Commander and Deputy Chief of Police carried out monitoring the situation around Bandung City, it was safe and conducive," Yana said after being at the Bandung Police Headquarters, Saturday, March 13, 2022 night.

Not only that, but Yana also said that the residents were quite obedient and disciplined about the rules for the Implementation of Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).

"According to PPKM Perwal, the activity must stop at 21.00 WIB. It seems that everything is closed and there are relatively no crowds," said Yana.

Yana hopes that regional officials will maintain security and order in their respective regions. This includes ensuring that people comply with health protocols.

"The sub-district head and all Forkopimcam (District Leadership Communication Forum) participate in maintaining a conducive situation in their respective areas," he asked.

Yana also revealed that Pangdam III/Siliwangi and Wakapolda Jabar hoped that this activity could be held regularly.

"Earlier, the Commander and Deputy Chief of Police also hoped that this activity could be carried out regularly so that the conducive situation in the city of Bandung can be maintained together," he explained.

The joint operation activities were also divided into several teams, namely the middle lane and the east lane.

For the middle lane, the patrol route starts from Makodam III/Siliwangi to Jalan Aceh – Seram – RE Martadinta – Merdeka – Lembong – Tamblong – Asia Africa – Gardu Jati – Pasirkaliki – Sukajadi, Setiabudi – Gandok – Cieumbuluit – Siliwangi – IR H Djuanda – Sulanjana – Diponegoro – Supratman – Ahmad Yani – Ibrahim adjie – Jakarta Canal – Ahmad Yani – Sunda – Java – Polrestabes Bandung.

While the eastern route from Makodam III/Siliwangi goes to - Aceh - Seram - RE Martaditana, Cilamaya - Diponegoro - Sentot alibasa - Surapati - PHH Mustopa - Cibiru roundabout - Soekarno Hatta - Ibrahim Adji - Gatot Subroto - Sunda - Java - Bandung Police. (yan)**
