According to him, the community still needs more optimal basic services, such as access to clean water, garbage, food, health, and education.

He advised that the highest pratama leaders should become commanders and be at the forefront of dealing with various challenges in society.

"From the aspect of global life, we are also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic with all its effects. In fact, it is threatened by a global recession," he said.

"We hope that the two officials who are inaugurated today will be able to direct and provide the best ideas to solve health problems in the city of Bandung," he hoped.

Meanwhile, the newly inaugurated Head of the Bandung City Health Office, Anhar Hadian, said that through collaboration various health challenges could be resolved.

"This is not an easy mandate, but it is not something that is impossible to carry out. We believe that with the collaboration and direction from the Mayor and the Regional Secretary as our leaders, we will be able to carry out this task as well as possible," said Anhar.

When it comes to priority programs, he explained, the first thing that will be accelerated is the handling of Covid-19.

"Currently the case is on the rise, so we must overcome it as much as possible. Moreover, the public's euphoria to return to previous behavior has been seen," he explained.

Second, the Covid-19 vaccination. He admitted that when there was no vaccine stock, many people protested.

"However, now when vaccines are abundant, the increase is not so significant. This is also another challenge for us," he admitted.

Other health problems are also still waiting to be resolved together. Among other things, non-communicable diseases, stunting, and ODF. (din)**
