Bandung City Government Ensures Maintain and Supervise Public Facilities

This was confirmed by the Regional Secretariat of the City of Bandung, Ema Sumarna on the sidelines of monitoring a number of public facilities, Friday, November 25, 2022.

On that occasion, Ema directly inspected the maintenance of public facilities and facilities such as parks, sidewalks, placement of billboards, and parking arrangements in a number of areas.

These areas include Jalan Ir. H Juanda, Babakan Siliwangi Park, Cihampelas, Laswi Street, Riau Street, Kiaracondong and others.

"On Jalan Ir. H Juanda, it is still well-maintained. However, we will remind and press the curbs to optimize them," said Ema.

Ema who also had time to monitor the Babakan Siliwangi area and Forest Walk as one of the icons of the city of Bandung. At that location, Ema asked officers to routinely inspect the Babakan Siliwangi facility.

"The painting for Forest Walk is good. However, there is iron that is starting to become a bit porous. It must be replaced immediately, don't wait until it collapses. It's a public facility that has become an icon of Bandung," explained Ema.

Ema instructed the relevant agencies to add lighting as well as improved management and parking facilities in the Forest Walk area.

Ema emphasized that SKPD within the Bandung City Government must consistently provide the best service for residents, especially those related to public facilities so that the benefits are felt for the public.

"The improvement of this facility will be gradual in the city of Bandung, hopefully it will be reflected in the realization of the 2023 budget," said Ema. (sya)**
