The aim is to optimize revenue growth in the regional retribution sector, improve payment transaction governance to make it more transparent, and make it easier to pay retribution for funeral payments.

The Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana said that this system is useful for minimizing meetings between service providers and those who need services.

"It's very transparent, prevents extortion and is efficient for the user community. Hopefully with this application, bereaved families can be assisted in searching for graves and other land," said Yana.

In addition, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) will make regulations regarding overlapping graves. Because the availability of burial land in the city of Bandung is not sufficient.

"Because the number of residents and the availability of land for burials are not balanced, we have limitations. We are trying to make regulations that allow for overlapping graves later to overcome order. In Mecca it is also carried out," he explained.

The Bandung City Government has also provided an additional budget for the Ciptabintar Service by providing five hearses.

"These five hearses can be used by UPT-UPTs in Ciptabintar. Hopefully they can be maintained and used according to the needs of the community," he said.

Meanwhile, to the Bandung City Ciptabintar Office, Bambang Suhari said, Simpelman was initiated from the results of a study on strategic issues regarding funeral services in the city of Bandung which were still not optimal.

"We are still conventional. So we came up with the Simpleman application to optimize funeral services. It has been tested by the community and officers at 13 TPUs," admitted Bambang.

The system has also been connected to Bank BJB and BPJS Health in accordance with Perwal Number 99 of 2021 concerning the Bandung City Cemetery Service Information System.

Bambang also explained that Ciptabintar would expand the Rancacili TPU and arrange infrastructure in 13 TPUs.

"This year a master plan has been drawn up for the plan to open a new TPU in Palasari Subdistrict, Cibiru District covering an area of 4,211 square meters. The feasibility study (FS) and physical development will be carried out in the 2023 budget year," he said. (din).
