Off-road parking rates in the city of Bandung have been adjusted

He said, adjusting parking rates could help stimulate people to switch to public transportation, then minimize congestion.

In addition, this also supports the parking investment climate in the city of Bandung. So that later, vehicles are encouraged to park outside the street (off street) and reduce parking on the road (on street).

"Parking on the street contributes to the problem of congestion in the city of Bandung. In the future, we will encourage off-street to restore the function of the road body. This adjustment, continued Rijal, will be accompanied by an increase in services for off-street parking with various breakthroughs. In the future, it will be integrated in one application called Bantos.

"With the adjustment of parking management rates, it can improve parking services," he said.

Effective rates will take effect on January 11, 2023. Meanwhile, socialization has started since January 4, 2023 in various off street parking areas.

"Starting today, socialization brochures will be posted at all entrances and exits of parking lots outside the road so that people can understand the parking rate adjustments," he said.

The following are the rental prices for building parking and parking lots based on the Decree of the Mayor of Bandung Number 551/Kep.3132-Dishub/2022 concerning Off-Street Parking Rental Prices:

1. Vehicles with 4 (four) wheels or more: Rp. 4,000 - Rp. 7,000 for the first hour while adding Rp. 4,000 - Rp. 7,000 every next hour. For valet parking/VIP services, an additional fee of Rp. 30,000 - Rp. 50,000 for one entry.

2. 2 (two) wheeled vehicles: IDR 2,000 - IDR 5,000 for the first hour while adding IDR 2,000 - IDR 5,000 every next hour.

The price for renting parking for buildings and parking lots in the environment of education units, health service facilities and transportation nodes:

1. Vehicles with 4 (four) wheels or more: Rp. 4,000 - Rp. 7,000 for the first hour while adding Rp. 4,000 - Rp. 7,000 every next hour. For valet parking/VIP services, an additional fee of Rp. 30,000 - Rp. 50,000 for one entry.

The maximum rate is Rp. 30,000 - Rp. 50,000 and the in-house parking rental price of Rp. 30,000 - Rp. 50,000.

2. 2 (two) wheeled vehicles: IDR 2,000 - IDR 5,000 for the first hour while adding IDR 2,000 - IDR 5,000 every next hour.

The maximum rate is Rp. 15,000 - Rp. 25,000 and the in-house parking rental price of Rp. 15,000 - Rp. 25,000.
