Persib Against Persija, Yana Hopes All Parties Maintain Order

The postponed match between Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta in the first round of League 1 will be held on Wednesday, January 11 2022. This match will be held at the GBLA Stadium in Bandung City.

Bandung Mayor Yana Mulyana hopes that the match will take place in an orderly manner. He also advised to be spectators to maintain order.

“Just be in order. Be a good spectator, be a good supporter," said Yana.

To note, the police have issued a permit for the Persib vs Persija match to be held at the GBLA Stadium on January 11, which is scheduled to kick off at 16.30 WIB.

"The Persib vs Persija match, planned to be held on January 11, the implementation of preparations for TNI/Polri personnel and related agencies is still the same as before," said Plt Wakapolrestabes Bandung AKBP Asep Pujiono.

Asep said that security would be carried out as tightly as possible in order to maintain a safe and conducive atmosphere. Security to the GBLA Stadium will use four security rings with a combined personnel of 4,000 people.

"Personnel are not allowed to carry firearms or tear gas," he explained.

For information, this match was postponed after the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang, East Java on October 1 2022 which killed 328 people.
