Making It Easy for People to Save, Bandung City Main Garbage Bank Launches BSI Go

Director of the Bandung City Main Garbage Bank, Elis Solihat said, BSI Go will be present every Sunday and public holiday in front of Gedung Sate Bandung City.

"The community must make it easier for them to save their waste. Why is it in front of Gedung Sate? Because every Sunday it becomes a community gathering center," he said after becoming a resource person for socializing Kang Pisman for the RW in Gedebage District, Sunday 14 May 2023.

He admitted that he had recruited volunteers from various universities to run the program. Currently, there are 77 volunteers ready to help the Main Garbage Bank.

"We have recruited 77 volunteers from students. The response was very good, they want to help the city of Bandung in solving waste," he said.

Various types of waste can be saved through BSI Go. Among them are plastic, paper, metal and waste cooking oil.

For people who want to become customers of a Garbage bank, the requirements are quite easy, just a photocopy of their KTP and the whole process is free.
