Garbage Circulation at TPS Returns to Normal

It used to be piled up at the TPS due to the constraints on the Sarimukti TPA, now the circulation of waste at the TPS is back to normal. Of the 55 polling stations that were overloaded, 51 polling stations have returned to normal.

"The DLH has handled extraordinary waste. Out of a total of 55 TPS that were overloaded, now only 4 are left, 51 TPS have been resolved," said the Bandung Mayor's Daily Executive, Ema Sumarna while reviewing a number of TPS, Friday 25 May 2023.

"This garbage problem is getting better day by day, with the Sarimukti TPA running back to near normal and the circulation has also been maximized," he added.

Ema visited two TPS, namely Cibangkong TPS and Gumuruh TPS. He said that only 50 percent of the two TPSs left with waste, which was constrained by access roads that could not be passed by large trucks.

"There can only be handled by 6 cubic vehicles. Even though there are only 10 tonnes left to be towed and it will be completed in stages," he said.

Ema also encouraged Gumuruh TPS to be used as a TPS that can process waste independently so that waste can be finished at TPS.

Currently, Ema is looking for the best method to be able to process waste that ends up in TPS.

"We will look for the best method that can be placed there, whether with this mini-gibric pattern it can be completed. If I see this, the potential is there, it only remains for Delha to commit to the Territory," he said.

Previously, the Bandung City Government was interested in using Gibrik Mini to handle waste in Bandung City. Gibrik Mini is an economical but sophisticated waste processing tool that has been quite successful in dealing with waste in Banyumas Regency. (rob)**
