Identical to Mata Bolong, Maestro Jeihan's painting is exhibited at Gray Art Gallery Braga

Gray Art Gallery collaborates with G3N Project and Studio Jeihan to present a visual art landscape inspired by the works of Jeihan Sukmantoro.

The exhibition presents the work of the Bandung maestro, by introducing a multi-perceptual experience that brings to life the diversity of views and interpretations of his works of art.

Jeihan's exhibition is at the Gray Art Gallery Braga, Jalan Braga. Open from 11 November - 11 January 2023 every day from 10.00 - 20.00 WIB.

By spending Rp. 25,000 (weekday) and Rp. 35,000 (weekend), the public can enjoy each of Jeihan Sukmantoro's works.

"This is the 6th exhibition, we are presenting the work of an art maestro from Bandung, namely Jeihan Sukmantoro," said Art Support Gray Art Gallery, Sayyid Fathin.

The title of Jeihan's work is SE(MATA)N. It becomes the basis for creativity, response and collective response.

Each of his works, continued Sayyid, becomes a point of reflection that invites various points of view.

"Jeihan's work is synonymous with hollow eyes, we try to absorb it and convey it to the public, finally we have the title, SE(EYE)N," he said.

He explained that this title aims to bring Jeihan's artwork back to the public.

"Visitors can enjoy Jeihan's work, can interpret each work outlined in each painting," said Sayyid.

In response to Jeihan's work, there were two artists, namely Arya Sudrajat and Eldwin Pradipta. Jeihan wants many people to process his work.

"We present two artists who took part in responding to Jeihan's work. Because Jeihan wants many people to process his work. He also wants his work to be enjoyed," he said.

As a presentation to visitors, said Sayyid, currently in the gallery there are 45 works by Jeihan Sukmantoro. Starting from paintings, sculptures, poetry, books and other works.

"Around 45 works, there are paintings, sculptures and poetry as well as books. Visitors are prepared to examine and experience each of Jeihan's works," he explained. (yan)**
