West Java Propemda XV Officially Opened, Acting Mayor of Bandung: Good luck and ready to win the overall championship

The joy and enthusiasm of hundreds of athletes, coaches and Bandung City officials enlivened the march of contingents from 26 cities/districts at the opening of the XVth Regional Government of West Java at the Mashud Wisnusaputra Stadium, Kuningan Regency.

The Bandung City contingent was led directly by the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono and the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna.

The Bandung City contingent is the contingent with the largest number of athletes in the 2023 Porpemda, numbering 279 athletes.

On that occasion, the Acting Mayor of Bandung, Bambang Tirtoyuliono gave encouragement to the Bandung City contingent. Bambang hopes that this year the city of Bandung can achieve the achievement of becoming overall champion.

"Good luck, Bandung City sports heroes. Maintain unity and enthusiasm to provide the best for Bandung City," he said.

The sports participated in by the Bandung City contingent include billiards, basketball, volleyball, badminton, chess, futsal, walking, golf, fitness gymnastics, field tennis, table tennis, stilts, long tarumpah, hadang and blowgun.

Meanwhile, the Acting Regional Secretary of West Java Province, Taufiq Budi Santoso, said that Porpemda

"This is a form of friendship and togetherness between ASN in West Java and uniting missions for a better West Java," he said.

Taufiq hopes that Porpemda will become an event that must continue to be maintained and improve its quality.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, the XVth Porpemda was officially opened," he said.

For information, a total of 2,383 athletes from 15 sports competed in Porpemda from various districts and cities in West Java.

The XVth Porpemda event will take place from 26-28 November 2023. The following is the match schedule:

7. Kuningan Hall Start-Finish Walk, 143 Athletes, 28 November 2023.

8. Golf at Jatinangor National Golf, 103 athletes, 27-28 November 2023.
