This was conveyed by the Head of the Bandung City Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar), Arif Syaifudin at the Bandung City DKPP Office, Thursday 21 December 2023.

"The cultural heritage area at the DKPP office is safe. It will not be affected by national strategic projects. It's just that there is an entrance (the entrance next to the security post) which we will move. Later a new entrance will be rebuilt around it, approximately 12 meters shift to maneuver the vehicle in and out," he explained.

He also ensured that the function of the cultural heritage building would not be affected in any way and could be used.

"It is not affected. The point is that the cultural heritage buildings here are safe," he explained.

Separately, the Head of the Bandung City DKPP, Gin Gin Ginanjar, said that the Bandung City Cultural Heritage Analysis Team (TACB) had issued a recommendation that cultural heritage buildings at the Bandung City DKPP Office should not be demolished.

On the other hand, he explained that the existing entrance is currently used to maneuver vehicles for slaughtering animals.

Even so, the solution obtained includes building a new entrance for maneuvering vehicles in and out. Meanwhile, the existing entrance is left but permanently fenced, because it is an inseparable part of the cultural heritage building.

"Of course there is an impact (from the spatial context). However, technically it has been discussed so that apart from not disturbing the cultural heritage aspect, it also doesn't interfere with our performance," explained Gin Gin.

For information, the Ciroyom flyover and JPO are targeted for completion in December 2023. So that in early 2024, the people of Bandung City can feel the benefits.

The presence of this flyover and JPO can facilitate the operation of the Jakarta Bandung Fast Train (KCJB) feeder. (ray)**
