This is based on Circular Number: 728-Disbudpar/2024 regarding the Closure of Tourism Businesses for Religious Holidays, the Bandung City Government (Pemkot) prohibits bars, nightclubs, discos, karaoke, pubs, massage parlours, billiard houses, spas and arts and culture studios. traditional business and entertainment businesses operate their business activities in the holy month of Ramadan.
The basis of the regulations is Bandung City Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 14 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 07 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Tourism (article 73 paragraph 6).
"Especially for bars, nightclubs, discos, karaoke, pubs, massage parlours, pool houses, spas and traditional arts and culture studios which are business and entertainment, they are prohibited from operating their business activities during the Holy month of Ramadan and religious holidays," it reads. the circular.
The closure in question will start on Saturday 9 March 2024 starting at 18.00 WIB and operations will be allowed again on Saturday 13 April 2024 at 18.00 WIB.
Meanwhile, film screenings in cinemas are advised to adapt to the situation and conditions of religious holidays.
If it turns out that you do not heed or violate these provisions, you will be subject to administrative sanctions based on Article 74 of Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 14 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Bandung City Regional Regulation Number 07 of 2012 concerning the Implementation of Tourism.
