"Around 120 street vendors have been arranged in stages in the west parking area of the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque," said Cimincrang Village Head, Rakha Dhifan during a Podcast with Bandung Public Relations.

In this parking area, he continued, there is space for parking around 80 - 100 buses. So that area can be used for structuring street vendors.

He hopes that when buses park and passengers disembark, street vendors can take advantage of them to offer their merchandise.

"Thank God, that (120 street vendors) is enough to control the street vendors who were originally in the yard (in front of the mosque)," he said.

He revealed that his party was prioritizing warlok, aka local residents who live in the Cimincrang area.

"We prioritize indigenous residents. Because they are the ones who will be impacted by the construction of the mosque," he said.

Apart from street vendors, the management of the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque is also optimizing Cimincrang residents to become workers. Starting from Office Boy (OB) to security.

According to Rakha, this is empowering the community in the area to absorb labor.

"This is community empowerment, there are 70 percent of the workforce there, our residents and 30 percent from outside," he explained.

The presence of the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque also improves the local economy. A number of residents choose to trade.

"Besides, many people trade. I once asked one of the traders, just selling mineral drinks, the profit is almost IDR 700,000 a day," he said. (yan)**
