PENTING! Pemkot Bandung sinkronkan Layanan 112

An emergency is an event that requires immediate and efficient handling because it involves human life, public order, and the interests of the community

There is a need for solid coordination among emergency stakeholders.

Therefore, the Bandung City Communications and Information Office held an event for Synchronization and Harmonization of Emergency Management in the Bandung City Environment, at the Atlantic City Hotel, Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Bandung City Government through PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. build the Emergency Call Number Service 112 which is a service that can be used when an emergency occurs by calling the number 112 which will be connected to the Emergency Call Center (Call Center 112) for free for the people of Bandung City.

Secretary of the Department of Communication and Information, Dicky Wishnumulya hopes that this forum can synergize the performance of all OPD including volunteers who are always active in emergency problems in the city of Bandung.

"We gather all officers from the SKPD or OPD who have been coordinating regarding emergencies to align the vision with 112," he said.

He hopes that with the 112 emergency service, the community will optimize the emergency call telephone number.

"With complaints originating from the community, the performance and synergy of the OPD will be more optimal," he added.

In the same place, the event's Organizing Committee, Yusuf Cahyadi, hopes that this forum can increase the synergy of emergency services, increase the acceleration of emergency services in the city of Bandung.

"In addition to synergizing with the Cipta Communication Center (CKC) volunteer friends, the Rapid Response Team (TCT), we also plan to synergize with the Street Musician Community (KPJ), to become volunteers because there are many emergency incidents in the city of Bandung," said Joseph.

He explained that sometimes people misuse the 112 phone because it is free.

"The public must be wiser in using the 112 service, there are still those who do not realize that the number 112 is an important number that should not be misused for just a trial call, prank call, or ghost call, because it involves human life," he added.

The Sukajadi Sub-district Social Welfare Personnel (TKSK), Lubis Latif, felt helped by the 112 service. This service helped bridge the handling of ODGJ and PMKS problems in Bandung City.

"With the existence of 112, Alhamdulillah, handling emergency events can be handled more quickly, especially for ODGJ and PMKS problems, 112 is more focused on coordinating with related agencies," said Lubis.

Acknowledgments were also conveyed by the Public Safety Center (PSC) 119 of the Bandung City Health Office, Eka Anugrah, who felt helped by the staff of 112, who always gave reports to the 119 service, especially on health emergencies.

"We fully support the existence of the 112 service, which continues to synergize with us, always helping to provide reports, especially health and ambulance needs for people in need, making it easier for us to handle emergency events in the city of Bandung," he said. (asy)**
