The Bandung City Government Will Push the Infrastructural Development in 2023

The preparation of the 2023 RKPD has gone through various processes. The Bandung City Government hopes that the structure of the Bandung City APBD will focus more on infrastructure, one of which is infrastructure.

The Bandung City Government will focus on infrastructural development in 2023. It covers the construction of 18 ward offices and 1 sub-district office.

It was stated in an event called Forum Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) or simply translates to Regional Official Organization Forum, in Penyusunan Rencana Kerja Pemerintah Daerah (RKPD) for 2023 in Arya Duta Hotel, Thursday, 17 March 2022.

The Acting Mayor of Bandung City, Yana Mulyana, stated that RKPD for 2023 has gone through several processes. The Bandung City Government hopes that the structure of APBD of Bandung City is focused on infrastructures among others.

“(it) focuses on infrastructures because it could accelerate economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic, and propelling the public economy,” Yana said.

“For infrastructures, if they have been inputted, the spending mandatory that can exceed 40% fulfils the APBD regulation requirements according to permendagri,” he said.

He said that the results of RKPD through musrenbang regionally was the combined regional organizations, the city government, OPD, and subdistrict heads.

“We agreed with the plan in APBD 2023. We have agreed with it, do not make other suggestions later leading to another budgeting,” he said.

The event attended by Yana was arranged with the signing of the OPD forum in RKPD development of Bandung City for 2023.

Previously, the event was started by the Regional Secretary of Bandung City, Ema Sumarna. He emphasized the theme and development priorities of RKPD of Bandung City in 2023 concerning governance.

“As to the theme and RKPD development priorities of Bandung City in 2023, they are: the optimalization of infrastructural qualities and spatial city settings, qualified environmental conservation, improving and developing the city’s economy, and educating humane people,” Ema said.

“(It) also involves improving people’s education, health, governance, and synergy in budgeting for the development,” he added. (asy)**
